This lift is suitable for CURVED STSIRCASES. One can travel from Ground to 1st or 2nd or 3 rd –Nth floor directly without stopping on landings or on intermediate floors.

In the CURVED STAIRCASES, The 1st part of the staircase is straight (inclined), thereafter there is CURVE on the LANDING or on the FLOOR and again straight (inclined). As the CHAIR of the LIFT turns around, it is called CURVED STAIRLIFT.

In our design, the main member supporting the lift is RECTANGULAR PIPE and it is fitted OVERHEAD. This OVERHEAD MAIN PIPE is supported by the rectangular pipe fixed on the side walls. The TROLLEY having the drive unit travels on this OVERHEAD MAIN PIPE.  The CHAIR is hung and hinged to the trolley. Naturally the Chair and the user is Vertical position by default.

Due to our OVERHEAD SYSTEM, we have following ADVANTAGES;

  • NO BLOCKAGE OF STEPS. OTHERS CAN USE STAIRCASE EASILY
  • THE FULL STAIRCASE IS AVAILABLE TO OTHER PERSONS
  • CHAIR CAN BE DISCONNECTED AND KEPT ASIDE AND A WHEEL CHAIR OR STRETCHER CAN BE ATTACHED TO THE TROLLEY.
  • REMOTE CALL FACILITY ALSO AVAILABLE TO CALL IT AT THE REQUIRED FLOOR
  • VERY GOOD FOR HONOURSHIP FLAT SCHEMES AS RIGHT OF USE OF STAIRCASE OF OTHERS IS NOT DISTURBED AS THIS DESIGN PROVIDES FOR ENOUGH HEAD CLEARANCE AND DOES NOT COVER ANY STEPS EVEN AFTER INSTALLING THIS CURVED STAIRLIFT

There are many staircases where the staircase starts with Slant straight stairs. There after there is landing with a U Curve or L curve. After the turn, there is again Slant straight stairs. There is again U Curve or L curve. Thus, the number of Slant straight staircases and U Curves will depend upon the  number of floors.

There are 2 options for such staircases.

  1. Install 2 Straight Stair Lift separately for each stair section. The person sits on the ground floor and he gets down from this chair and walks on the landing and sits in the other Straight Lift and travels to the next floor. He can continue this way to reach the top floor. The details of this type is given above.
  2. CURVED SRAIR LIFT : This type of Stair lift is suitable for the staircases where the person can sit in the chair at the ground and he can go to the 1st floor or 2nd floor or to 3rd floor or to 4th floor directly. The details are as given below;

The Mild Steel main tube of 100X50X2.5/3thk mm section is permanently fixed at about 1500 mm above the staircase slope. It is The tube is supported on the wall with the vertical pipes fitted in the wall and the steps(if required) with fasteners. t is fixed at about 175mm from the wall. After the straight portion of the staircase is over, the curved section of same size continues in the landing part of the staircase (which is flat). Again after the landing part is over, same tube is fitted on the next straight staircase section. Rack is fixed to this tube on the top of the main tube.

There is a special trolley which glides over the rack and tube fitted over-head. The main drive unit having BLDC motor and Gear Box are fitted in this trolley. It also has Battery and other required mechanism. The chair is fixed to the trolley. The trolley has Stainless Steel covers.

All the shafts, pins are tested for NON-CRACK DETECTION. The seat base is folding one.  The two arms of the chair are also folding. In the right hand arm at the tip of it, a JOYSTICK is fitted. As the Joystick lever is pressed UP side, the motor rotates clockwise and the chair glides up over the SS tube. If the Joy stick lever is pressed DOWN side, the motor rotates anticlockwise and the chair glides down over the SS tube. If the Joystick lever is released in between, the chair halts immediately.
Shock absorber and auto-stop facility is provided at the bottom of the SS tube. Also as the chairs rests at the top or at the bottom, it is connected to auto charging facility of the batteries. Due to this, the batteries are always charged. Seat-Belt is provided with easy fixing facility if asked.  A battery charger is to be placed near the SS tube on a small shelf and the 2 wires carrying 24V DC are to be connected to the Charging points at the top and also at the bottom.

2 Remote controllers are also provided. One Remote unit is fitted at the Ground Floor. If Lift is at the 1st floor and the other person has to use it, he has to press the CALL – Button of this Remote Unit.  Due to this action, the lift will travel on own down and stop at the Ground Floor. Similarly, by pressing the Remote Button of the Unit fitted at the 1st floor; it will travel on its own from the ground to the 1st floor facilitating the other person to travel from 1st floor to Ground.

Let’s assume that the lift is at the bottom. The person unfolds the chair seat and the 2 arms and Foot Rest. He sits on the chair. He fastens the seat belt. He pushes the Joystick lever UP side, the motor rotates clockwise and the chair glides up over the SS tube. As he reaches the top he releases the Joystick to stop the motion of the chair. He unfastens the Belt and gets down.

Similarly, if the chair is at the top, he unfolds the chair seat and the 2 arms and Foot Rest. He sits on the chair. He fastens the seat belt. He pushes the Joystick lever DOWN side, the motor rotates anticlockwise direction and the chair glides down over the SS tube. As he reaches the bottom, he releases the Joystick to stop the motion of the chair. He un fastens the Belt and gets down. He has to also fold the chair, arms and Foot rest to clear the stairs.

  • Since, the pipe is fitted Over head, it does not permanently block the 200mm (8”) of the steps. The full staircase is available to other persons.
  • The chair can be disconnected easily and kept aside if required.
  • The user can go directly to the other floors.

      +   Rs. 25,000   Erection & Fitting Charges for the full lift in Pune

      +   Rs.   Xyz  Transport Charges from our works to customers’ place on Actual

  • GST : @ 5% if you will give Disability Certificate from a practicing doctor otherwise GST @ 18%.

  • GST will be charged on the Lift + transport + Erection

  • 50 % ADVANCE along with the order and balance 40% payments against Proforma Invoice before dispatch of the machine. You can inspect the lift in working condition in our works, Last 10% within 1 week from the date of commissioning of the lift at your premises.

  • 12 weeks from the date of receipt of your D.D.

  • It will be charged extra as applicable.

We will send our 2 persons to do the fitting. It will take normally 3-4 days  to fix up. We will make one call free within 1 month for any problems faced by you. It does not require any maintenance. Only the batteries are to be changed after they have lost the charge. Normal life is about 2 years. These will be available locally. We will show you how to change these which is very simple.
